Build a Poem center activity for 5 Little Turkeys.

Hang the colorful rhyme poster near a pocket chart center. The kids build the poem, sequencing the large print word cards. When done, the students love to retell or sing the poem to the class - great for a shared reading activity. This is one of my students' favorite stations in November.

Great for readers theater, poetry stations, poetry folders, a poem a day, rhyming, concepts of print, repetition, and sentence structure, for kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade.
