May Math Write the Room

Build number recognition, counting one-to-one correspondence, number writing, and number line awareness with these fun May Math Write the Room printables!

We want our kids to excel beyond the standards.  We want them to enjoy learning.  We want them to become independent thinkers and doers.  That, my friend, is what you’ll experience with hands-on learning opportunities.

Below, you will find two May math resources for prek, kindergarten and first grade.  There are activities for numbers to 10 and numbers to 20.

How to Use Write the Room Resources

Traditionally, write the room resources are meant to get the kids up and moving while engaged in learning activities.

Do do this, you will hang the number cards around the room and give your kid a recording sheet.  As they find cards, they count the objects, and write the number next to the corresponding picture on the recording sheet.

If you want to extend the activity, and offer more practice counting numbers, here are more ways you can use write the room activities.
