Nursery Rhymes Color by Code Coloring Pages

Kids love nursery rhymes!  So, why not incorporate their favorite nursery rhymes with a review of basic skills?   These nursery rhymes color by code coloring pages will do just that…keep learning fun!

Baa Baa Black Sheep Color By Code

What do you think of when you hear Baa Baa Black Sheep?  Most likely, a Master, bags of wool, and sheep.  Those key elements are found in this set of printable coloring pages.

This nursery rhyme tends to be a favorite for kids of all ages.  As a kindergarten teacher, this was one of my favorites to teach the kids.  They love learning what a fiddle is, and imagining a cow jumping over the moon.  My favorite is when they feel the need to laugh when they hear the lyrics, “the little dog laughed to see such sport”.

I’m not sure if it’s the mouse, or the grandness of a Grandfather clock, that draws in the kids attention.  But, Hickory Dickory remains a popular nursery rhyme after being taught for centuries.   

This poem is great for integrating lessons about telling time, as well as teaching position words to the kids.  For example, they can act out the motions of up and down.
