Simple Fall and Halloween Decor
Happy Friday, everyone! I wanted to jump on here and quickly share some of my favorite simple Fall and Halloween decor we have around the house. The first day of Fall in 2019 is September 23rd – just a couple days away. Have you already stared displaying your favorite Fall decorations? I’ll be honest, I have my husband bring up the Fall and Halloween buckets on the first day of September.
Fall is my favorite season of the year, and I cannot wait to start decorating. With that being said, I like to keep my decorating pretty simple. The closer we get to Halloween, more and more decorations start appearing around the house 🙂 I will update this post as we begin to add more Halloween decorations.

Owls and pumpkins are classic Fall decorations for the house. I like the rustic feel of this pumpkin patch sign, simple owl, and white fabric pumpkin. When searching for Rustic Halloween decorations, you will find a range of spooky decor that manages to give a cozy feel around the home. To get this feel, you can mix old with new, tie in natural elements, and create an authentic Fall and Halloween decor. There is a special charm with rustic decorations scattered throughout the room.
“Eat, drink, and be merry” is a common quote; I know. As a huge Dave Matthews fan, “Eat, drink, and be merry” part a pleasant tune, from his song “Tripping Billies” that often gets stuck in my head. Fun fact, my husband and I got married at a Dave Matthews Band concert! On that day, we needed a sign that said, “Eat, drink, and be married”. But, for Halloween, we couldn’t pass up this Eat, Drink, and be Scary light up sign for our kitchen!
